LIFECYLE STATUS OF A PART¶

Declare a Lifecycle status.This information is applicable to Off-the-shelf (OTS) parts only.

Lifecycle status can be any of the following:

NPI
New Part Introduction. Indicate this status if the part is pre-production.

Active
Indicate this status if the part is active and in production.

NRND
Not Recommended for New Design. Indicate this status if the part is no longer recommended for new designs.

EOL
End of Life. If the part is going to be discontinued in the near future, indicate the status as EOL. Indicate the Last Time Buy (LTB) date.

Obsolete
Indicate this status if the part is obsolete. If Last Time Buy information is still applicable, enter it into that section.

Note: RoHS and REACH documentation is not mandatory for the parts whose lifecyle status is Obsolete.
