SCIP Notification in GDX¶

REACH Regulation requires suppliers of articles containing Candidate List substances (SVHC) in a concentration above 0.1% w/w to communicate to consumers to allow the safe use of articles. Articles without SVHC above threshold are not required for SCIP Notification.

The SCIP database ensures that REACH SVHC use details are also available to waste operators in support of improving current waste management practices, including safety and recyclability, and to foster the use of waste as a resource.

To declare SCIP Notification for a part, in the Compliance section, click Edit next to the REACH Type entry.
